Transgender and public restrooms

I've been reading / hearing a lot of noise recently, about the threat of transgender people using the incorrect bathroom and how it's terrorizing our children and putting them in harm's way.
I looked for evidence in a few search engine queries on Google and Bing before starting to write down my thoughts.
I found a lot of articles on the topic of public restroom molestations. I found that there are a lot of perverts (mostly male) being reported. A few of the reports were not even by conservative blogs, they were legitimate stories by actual news agencies.
The Public Restroom Predator is real, and I can find plenty of stories reporting on the evidence.
When I add "transgender" to the search, or related terms like gender neutral, I find that nobody's reporting on actual incidents, only the threat.
